Langtang is situated north of Kathmandu and the ethnic group, known as Tamangs mostly populated this area. The culture language and their customs are much similar to the Tibetans. The views of snowy mountain peaks, like the Langtang Lirung (7,246 m.). Gangchenpo (5,846 m.), Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m.) are excellent. Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking


<strong>Langtang Goshaikund Trek
The langtang Goshaikund trek is one of the most beautiful trekking in Nepal. Kund is a Nepali word, means: lake. There are 108 kunds in this area and mainly visible from the routes are Saraswati Kund, Bhairab Kund, Surya Kund and Goshaikund is the famous and most important one.

Day 01: Arrival to the hotel and unpacking
Day 02: Full day sight seeing around the Kathmandu valley.
Day 03: Drive to Dhunche early in the morning.
Day 04: Dhunche to Syabru.
Day 05: Syabru to Sing Gompa. There are two alternative routes to Goshaikund starting at Syabru. This one is commonly considered as a normal route also as a popular one.
Day 06: Sing Gompa to Goshaikund (4,300 m.) This route includes Laurebinayak at (3,930 m.) Saraswati Kund and Bhairab Kund are the most attractive ones on this trek.
Day 07: Goshaikund to Ghopte (3,480 m.) The trail leads to northern part of Goshaidkund and there seems a challenge of corssing the Laurebinayak pass (4,600 m. approxmately). After 4 till 5 hours of trek will arrive at Ghopte for camping.
Day 08: Ghopte Kutumsang (2,470 m.). Except ascending to Tharepati an elevation to (3,400 m.) the rest of the trail will descend. Sufficient hotels, lodges and temporary tea-house are available on the route. Attractive mountain views as well as local peoples’ life style, culture, customs would be additional subject of interests.
Day 09: Kutumsang to Chisapani (2,200 m.). Instead of coming down to Kathmandu one can extend the itinerary to enjoy another spectacular view from Chisapani.
Day 10: Chisapani to Nagarkot (2,200 m.). Nagarkot is the most beautiful spot to watch sunrise and sunset view.
Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu from Nagarkot.
Day 12: Free day for shopping, relaxing and packing. Drive to Chitwan.
Day 13: At Chitwan full day program: Elephant ride and bird watching after bed tea or coffee. Breakfast Canoeing on Rapti river, lunch, nature walk and special show of Tharu ethnic group’s with Stick dance and dinner at 8 o’clock in the evening.
Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 15: Shopping
Day 16: Departure day

Visa
Visa can be getting easily from Royal Nepalese Embassies or Royal Nepalese consulate office. 15 0r 30 days visa is also available from Kathmandu airport. Mountaineering, Trekking and Rafting permits are available in Kathmandu. You need 3 passport size photos to make Tims and conservation Permit
Medication
All travelers should consult with their physician or update on vaccination requirements Cholera, Typhoid, Tetanus and hepatitis. None of these shots are require .For Entry in to Nepal, but we recommend that you get inoculations or boosters for these before travelling. For hepatitis, the Hemoglobin injection should be taken as close to departure.
Altitude Sickness
A mixture of problems like headache, noose, and shortness of breath tiredness encountered at high altitude above 3,000 Mts. because of the less oxygen, low Pressure, rapid ascent, possibly dehydration and hypothermia. Mild symptom of sickness. Not feeling well, Tiredness, short of breath, loss of appetite sleeping disturbance and dizziness. It can be happen after 1-3 days of arrival in the altitude then increasing shortness of breath at rest, severe cough-dry much tried, High pulse rateI.e. 110 blueness of face, lip, fingers nail-that mean inability to transport oxygen in to the blood. It can be happen after 2 night of arrival in the altitude. The last severe symptoms of altitude sickness: -Severe headache, vomiting, working like a drunk, mental confusion, irritable unconsciousness.
Prevention
Acclimatization in high altitude, working slowly, drinking more water or fluid, carry small back pack, climb high sleep lower, don’t work alone and no alcohol, sleeping pills, and smoking.
Treatment
For the altitudes sickness, there is no medicine but if anybody suffering by sickness better way to take lower altitude as soon as possible. Some medicine can help like a oxygen, Diamox for mild symptoms. Nafedipine for second Symptom Stroids / Dexamthasone for severe symptoms and Hyperbolic bag eparture from Nepal.
